Jaci Coston, CD(DONA)
I am a follower of Christ, military wife, and mother three! Aside from my work as a doula, I am a stay at home mom raising my babies!
After a smooth induction with my first baby, I became a nanny for a local doula. She introduced me to the world of birth and postpartum doulas, and sparked my love for birth. I began researching and learning about birth, and decided to become a doula! When I found out I was pregnant with our second baby, I knew I wanted an unmedicated birth. With the help of a birth education class, our doula, preparation, and prayer, I was able to have a beautiful, unmedicated birth with our second baby, and just had a homebirth with our third. I completed my doula certification and am now a certified birth doula through DONA International.
When a family chooses me to be their doula, I do not take it lightly. I realize what an honor it is to be involved in such an intimate time. My goal is to build a relationship with your family during your pregnancy so that you feel supported, informed, and empowered during your labor and birth.
